Missions: An exposé on Apostle Paul – By Sis Gbemisola Dawn Fache

“Whenever I hear the word “missions”, the first picture that comes to my mind are imageries from the historical movies I watched growing up: swords, javelins, helmets, shields, a formation of soldiers marching in one accord, drums beating the war cry, and the soldiers looking all serious as they march straight for the target.

I think the dictionary gives a simple explanation: “An important assignment given to a person or a group of people…”

Missions in the believer’s context is….”

The Joy of Harvest (A Poem) By Sis. Abigail Ndubueze

“Psalm 126 vs 6

Who are these like warriors come
Marching, stampeding the field?
Battered, wounded, their plow weild,
Their countenance bearing no form.

Their palms the brunt of toil,
They look not left nor right,
Strength fastened on the soil,
They toil all day and night.

These are they who labour,
Drifting like ships on sail
Waits to rest on its harbour,
Praying their strength not to fail…..”

Confessions of a Missionary (Part 4) By Sis Oluwaseun Ogundare

“I am God’s representative on earth.
I legislate His will here on earth.
His will is done on earth just as it is in heaven.
May His kingdom come in every nation, in every tribe, in every tongue, in every language.
Our God reigns, let the earth be glad.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me.

He has anointed me to proclaim liberty to the captive and opening of prison to them that are bound.
I decree freedom, liberation of people, nations from the power of darkness.

I proclaim the name of Jesus over the nations.
I disarm every link, operation, line of communication of the enemy in the nations.
I render their devices useless.

I decree that governments, media establishments, educational institutions, culture and thought patterns come in alignment with the word of God.
I cast down thrones, covens and everything raising itself above the knowledge of Christ.
They have been defeated
He has made a public display of them (Col 2:15).

It is finished!!

We sound the alarm; our God reigns over the earth.

Those who seat in darkness have seen a great Light…”

Welcome April, Our Month of Kingdom Growth and Establishment By Complete obedience to His Command(Mark 16:20)

“Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs.

In this month of April, may the Lord God give you the grace to obey Him in all things completely.

Philippians 2:8-9 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death – even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.

As you obey His command, may you experience His presence more than ever before,

May this month be for you the month of miracle, signs and wonders, in Jesus name

The Unreached People’s Group By Sis Jane Edema

“It was my first missionary journey to Togo and we were on evangelism in one of the unreached communities.

As usual, I was with an interpreter since I didn’t have a grip on the local language.

We met a lady who was about to prepare lunch for her family and engaged her with the gospel.

As my custom is when sharing my faith, I asked her if she knows who Jesus is, and her response came back as NO!

I didn’t think the interpreter communicated my message correctly, so, I urged him to ask her again….”

Interceding for the Lost – By Bro Francis Essang

“To Intercede, is to intervene between two parties in other to reconcile their differences. In other words, this simply means to stand in gap for someone who have missed their way or purpose or helpless in situation pertaining to the purpose of God concerning their life or to help connect someone who is unable to find his or her way to their source. To be sincere,  whoever is lost whether in physical or the spiritual realm is in danger, it’s a stage whereby confusion is what they have left, he or she needs nothing but that which could bring them peace and deliverance….”
